Kuala Lumpur, January 28: Fresh from their Asian Team victory at the Royal Trophy earlier this month, Thongchai Jaidee and fellow Thai professional Prayad Marksaeng will join the line-up at the Maybank Malaysian Open 2009 which tees off at Saujana Golf and Country Club from February 12 to 15.  GRADUATES AIM TO SPARKLE

Bangkok, January 28: Japan's Daisuke Maruyama will lead a group of eager Qualifying School graduates when the 2009 season tees off at the Asian Tour International next week.

Maruyama, a former US PGA Tour player, won the Asian Tour Qualifying School two weeks ago when he defeated England's Ally Mellor in play-off and he will be looking to ride on his form at Suwan Golf and Country Club from February 5 to 8. Read more

 BOONCHU AIMS HAPPY HOMECOMING

Bangkok, January 23: Thai golf legend Boonchu Ruangkit is ready make a splash on the Asian Tour this season, saying that golf is his life and retirement is the furthest thing from his mind. 

The 52-year-old, a five-time winner on Tour, will compete in the season-opening Asian Tour International at Suwan Golf and Country Club from February 5 to 8 after spending two years on the Champions (Seniors) Tour in the United States. Read more

  PRAYAD EYES INTERNATIONAL

Bangkok, January 19: Thai star Prayad Marksaeng is planning to launch a title assault at the season-opening Asian Tour International next month in a bid to get back to the US Masters.

The smooth-swinging Prayad missed out on a ticket to Augusta National Golf Club after finishing just outside the world's top-50 at the end of last season but he is determined to fight his way back into the year's first major in April. Read more
